Moab (2009)
16” x 20” acrylic on canvas with pine float frame.
This piece captures one of my first vivid desert memories- Moab, Utah, Spring Break 2009. The seeds planted on this trip grew into a deep and abiding love for the desert landscape, and exists in my mind as an essential memory, a bit fuzzy around the edges with time. Here, I journeyed through the desert and would continue this pilgrimage for decades to come.
